Highly Skilled CAD Engineer Wanted for Infrastructure Development

We are a pioneering US-based company revolutionizing the energy industry through hydrogen technology at OneH2, Inc.
OverviewOur team is responsible for designing and building cutting-edge hydrogen gas terminals using our proprietary technology. We are seeking an exceptional CAD engineer to join our Infrastructure Department in bringing projects from concept to execution by drafting, maintaining, and improving our current CAD designs.
Salary & BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - 120,000 per year, depending on experience, with opportunities for career growth and professional development in a dynamic and inclusive environment that promotes diversity.
Responsibilities- Draft detailed construction and design plans for architects and engineers from various disciplines to follow, collaborating with project management teams.
- Create CAD designs in 2D for civil, stormwater, sanitary sewer, mechanical, electrical, traffic systems, fire alarm, and HVAC systems in collaboration with respective project engineers and external consultants.
- Maintain project documentation, including document control systems, project schedules, and project overviews, in collaboration with project coordinators and assistant project managers.
- Draft and maintain document management systems for the CAD designs generated for various projects.
- Collaborate with external consultants to outsource design work as required, applying attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, project management, construction management, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of industry experience in project engineering, designing, or drafting on relevant projects.
- Ability to read and understand engineered designs, P&IDs, construction designs, and project specifications.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D is mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail in drafting designs.
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.
