Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Preschool Teacher to join our team at Spectrum Preschool. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children aged 2-5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a faith-based curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, and spiritual development of preschool children
  • Employ a variety of educational techniques, including storytelling, educational play, and media, to engage children and promote learning
  • Observe and assess each child's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and develop strategies to support their growth and development
  • Encourage children to interact with each other, resolve conflicts, and develop essential social skills
  • Guide children in developing their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
  • Organize and supervise nap and snack hours, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children
  • Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and involving them in their child's education
  • Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
  • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher or Early Childhood Educator
  • Excellent understanding of child development principles and preschool educational methods
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills
  • Ability to act as a mediator between children
  • Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable
  • Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
  • Certification in child CPR
  • Minimum of 12 CD units (Principles of Child Development, Curriculum, Child, Family & Community or equivalent)
