Job Overview

As a Laser Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of advanced laser systems. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the precision and efficiency of our laser production processes.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Completing the comprehensive In-house Laser Technician Training Program; we provide training for all qualified individuals.
  • Adhering to the weekly production timeline set by your supervisor, while promptly reporting any potential delays or issues that could impact the schedule.
  • Following established assembly protocols and safety regulations consistently.
  • Collaborating with your production team to construct laser systems from inception to completion.
  • Optically aligning laser components, including crystals and mirrors.
  • Utilizing chillers as necessary during the assembly of laser systems.
  • Conducting tests on lasers using specialized laboratory equipment.
  • Recording all essential data throughout the assembly process and upon completion.
  • Updating designated spreadsheets to compile data and ensure procedures are current.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues within laser systems.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
  • Manual dexterity for handling delicate and high-value components.
  • The capability to work in a clean room environment, adhering to strict dress code requirements including lab coats, clean room footwear, and gloves, along with safety glasses when necessary.
