This involves partnering with cross-functional teams to bring category visions to life, understanding customer needs and market dynamics, and creating the right product mix to drive business results.
Key Responsibilities- Create Assortment Strategy: Develop and implement assortment strategies for Women's Bottoms based on analysis of metrics, competitive landscape, consumer insights, and trends.
- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with planners, allocators, and other stakeholders to achieve business goals and deliver assortments that support brand strategies.
- Analyze Product Performance: Analyze product performance data to identify risks and opportunities, and guide actions to increase opportunities and drive business results.
- Present Assortment Strategies: Prepare and present assortment strategies to stakeholders, including milestone meetings and business reviews.
- Engage with Global & Cluster Merchandising Teams: Ensure alignment with Global & Cluster Merchandising teams on Merchandising Strategy.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or fashion.
- Merchandising Experience: 2+ years of experience in merchandising or buying in the apparel industry.
- Knowledge of Merchandising Trends: Knowledge of current merchandising and design trends in the apparel industry.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial measurements and their impact on the business.
- Passion for Product and Consumers: A passion for product and consumers, with a focus on delivering business results.
- Excel Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel and other business tools.
