Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Generation Technician to join our team at Jobvous Staffing Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of power generation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, and electrical distribution equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs at the shop and on customer locations
  • Work independently or as part of a team to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of experience working on generators, with a focus on troubleshooting, inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Electrical knowledge and/or heavy diesel knowledge
  • Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, as well as read and understand schematics
  • Valid driver's license and ability to move or lift objects weighing less than 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial/Industrial experience in generators
  • Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
