Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Virology Operations Manager to provide operational leadership in the clinical virology area for ViiV Healthcare. This role will involve providing sample and systems management across various studies, collaborating with clinical virologist team members to design, execute, and manage external contracts, and providing medical writing support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership in the clinical virology area for ViiV Healthcare
  • Provide sample and systems management across various studies
  • Collaborate with clinical virologist team members to design, execute, and manage external contracts
  • Provide medical writing support
  • Project management of collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaising with our cure and remission and bioinformatic team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a life science field
  • 3+ years of experience in drug discovery and clinical development; medical affairs and/or post-marketing support is a bonus
  • 1+ years of research experience in Infectious Diseases; experience in HIV treatment, and prevention research with credible external presence a bonus
  • Experience working in a matrix team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters Degree or PhD
  • Profound knowledge of HIV virology, including potential therapeutic interventions
  • Good understanding of strategic program planning and execution
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability in execution and deliverables
  • Understanding the clinical trial process from concept study idea to publication and Regulatory submissions
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal relationship building/maintenance
  • Excellent qualification in cross-functional project management and proven team working spirit
