Job Overview

This position requires proficiency in both English and Spanish, both in written and verbal communication.

Role Summary:

The Residential Care Supervisor is tasked with ensuring the safety and well-being of families and children within the facility by conducting regular inspections throughout the premises and interacting with residents. This role involves collaboration with the security personnel and management to address any issues or concerns that may arise. The Residential Care Supervisor may assist case managers during room evaluations as necessary. Additionally, this position entails overseeing communal areas to guarantee appropriate usage. The Residential Care Supervisor will also be responsible for conducting intakes during evening, overnight, and weekend shifts as required. Furthermore, this role includes the scheduling and oversight of residential support staff during their assigned shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in a shelter or residential environment.
  • Familiarity with CARES is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • A Food Protection Certificate is required within the initial weeks of employment.
  • A valid Driver's License is preferred.
