Residential Caregiver

Job Summary:
Constructive Partnerships Unlimited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Caregiver to join our team at the Sanctuary Site in Brooklyn. As a Residential Caregiver, you will work closely with the Shift Supervisor to provide general assistance and support to clients residing at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to build ADL skills such as laundry, cleaning, and organization of room.
- Monitor public indoor and outdoor spaces to ensure a safe environment in accordance with CP and DHS standards.
- Distribute and collect linen for laundry service in accordance with procedure.
- Assist with food warming and serving meals.
- Clean serving utensils and pots.
- Complete Incident Reports as needed.
- Complete room checks as needed.
- Update logbook to foster greater and meaningful communication across shifts.
- Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team.
- Meet with supervisor on regular basis.
- Interact with clients to promote a friendly, supportive, but professional atmosphere.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or other supervisory staff.
- Attend mandatory in-service annually.
- Participate in meetings as requested.
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Food Handler's Certificate.
- CPR/First Aide.
- Ability to speak/write the English language.
