Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement farm goals and objectives in alignment with company standards and procedures.
  • Lead and manage a team of technicians and other support staff to ensure efficient and effective farm operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and workplace safety.
  • Monitor and analyze farm performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of farm operations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of farm operations, including production data, animal health, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as agriculture, animal science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in swine production, with a proven track record of success in farm management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of technicians and support staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical ability to work in a farm environment, with regular exposure to animals, dust, and other environmental factors.
