Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Donor Screener to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Phlebotomist/Donor Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors while collecting high-quality plasma.
Key Responsibilities- Screen new and repeat donors to ensure their eligibility to donate
- Collect blood samples from donors using phlebotomy techniques
- Monitor donor vital signs and record results
- Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate donor compensation and provide excellent customer service
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 32 pounds and occasionally lift materials up to 50 pounds
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Prolonged glove wear required due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
- 1 or more years of experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is preferred
