Genetic Counselor II Neuro-Memory and Aging

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled Genetic Counselor II to join our team at the Memory and Aging Center. As a key member of our clinical research unit, you will work closely with medical providers to evaluate patients and families at high risk for neurodegenerative disease.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in research and teaching objectives, tracking data and reporting outcomes
- Design, conduct, and publish research projects
- Work closely with medical providers to evaluate patients and families at high risk for neurodegenerative disease
- Master's degree from a recognized genetic counseling program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least one year of experience in genetic counseling (post-master's degree)
- Board eligible or board certification in genetic counseling by the American Board of Medical Genetics
- Licensed Genetic Counselor in the State of California
- Computer skills and basic statistics knowledge
- Strong writing, oral communication, and people skills
