This position involves fueling and positioning aircraft, assisting with baggage handling, and maintaining effective communication with customer service representatives via radio.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome passengers and crew members upon their arrival.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and vendors to ensure comprehensive ground services for general aviation aircraft, including fueling, lavatory services, ground power, potable water, and catering delivery.
  3. Direct and position aircraft on the ramp and within hangars.
  4. Oversee fuel management, ensuring quality control and proper documentation.
  5. Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of crew vehicles.
  6. Ensure a safe, clean, and secure ramp environment.
  7. Transport passengers using shuttle vehicles.
  8. Participate in monthly team meetings.
  9. Engage in annual training sessions.
Competencies Required:
  1. Strong customer service orientation with an outgoing personality.
  2. Effective communication skills with customers and team members, both in person and via radio.
  3. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as insurance coverage is required.
  4. Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  5. Basic mathematical skills.
  6. Bi-lingual abilities are preferred.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Line Service Manager.

Work Environment:
This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and involves direct interaction with both moving and stationary aircraft. Employees may encounter hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position include, but are not limited to:
  1. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  2. Potential exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.
  3. Outdoor work in diverse weather conditions.
  4. Physical activities may include bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping, and climbing ladders.
Position Type and Work Hours:
This is a non-exempt position that requires shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Travel:
No travel is anticipated for this role.

Qualifications:
  1. Experience in customer service within the service industry is preferred.
  2. Prior experience in aircraft ground handling is advantageous.
  3. A high school diploma is required.
  4. This is an entry-level position.
  5. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
  6. A satisfactory driving record is required.
  7. Ability to pass a background check is mandatory.
  8. We maintain a zero-tolerance drug-free workplace, including pre-employment and random screenings.
Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.
