We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Yosemite's Badger Pass location. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing medical response and care to guests and employees in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform on-scene medical response and assess patient condition to determine proper course of treatment
- Provide basic life support, including airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and use of the automatic defibrillator when necessary
- Report verbally and in writing medical care and observations of the patient at the emergency scene and in transit
- Assist in the transportation of the injured to additional response units
- Restock and replace used supplies, clean all equipment following appropriate disinfecting procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality according to state and federal laws
- EMT certification required
- CPR/AED certification required
- Previous EMT experience preferred
- Ability to use judgment and make decisions in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
