Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Ryder. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience working on heavy-duty vehicles. They will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing complex mechanical issues, and repairing or replacing faulty components.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
  • Detect and diagnose complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel injection, emissions control, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
