Key Responsibilities
The Restaurant Operations Supervisor (ROS) assists the Restaurant Leader in all operational functions. In the absence of the Restaurant Leader, the ROS assumes responsibility for all operations. Additionally, the ROS oversees daily management and operations, provides guidance to department and shift leaders, and monitors key performance indicators, developing immediate action plans for positive results. The ROS should embody a transformational and servant leadership style, acting as a strategic partner to the Restaurant Leader.
Essential Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in an Assistant Manager or similar managerial role within a hospitality, retail, or restaurant environment with comparable or higher transaction volumes.
- A Can-Do attitude and commitment to overall business success.
- Ability to understand, analyze, and respond to Profit and Loss (PnL) Statements.
- Experience in implementing labor controls, guiding the leadership team on labor management, creating action plans, delegating tasks among leadership, and ensuring task completion.
- Capability to foster a joyful, productive, and compliant workplace focused on our People.
- Strong communication and goal tracking skills.
- Ability to manage by walking around (MBWA) to promote the use of McDonald's and The Good Food Group's systems, standards, and routines.
- Ensuring compliance with performance management procedures.
- Leading employee-focused training initiatives within the restaurant.
- Promoting a culture of hospitality to position our restaurants as leaders in guest service.
- Overseeing talent acquisition for roles at the restaurant level.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule and be on call as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an Assistant General Manager or equivalent role in the retail, hospitality, or restaurant sector.
- A desire to advance further in restaurant management.
