The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation operations and a proven track record of directing and planning inspection standards, methods, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Installation Inspection Department: Direct and oversee the daily operations of the department, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, air carrier requirements, and manufacturer specifications.
- Develop and Implement Inspection Standards: Plan, lay out, and direct the details of inspection standards, methods, techniques, practices, and procedures used by the Certificated Repair Station.
- Supervise and Motivate a Multidiscipline Team: Manage and lead a team of inspectors to meet program commitments, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure Quality Control and Assurance: Perform Quality Control Lead Inspectors' duties and responsibilities, ensuring the highest level of quality and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, military leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years' experience in a Certified Repair Station, with a strong background in aviation operations.
- Skills and Qualifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, FAA Inspection Authorization preferred. Proficiency in the use of inspection aides, test equipment, and techniques to determine quality of airworthiness. Effective computer skills, Microsoft Office software, and other company-specific software applications.
