Position Summary
This role involves executing aircraft-related sheet metal and Auxiliary Fuel Systems (AFS) installation and modification tasks, adhering to company standards and procedures under minimal supervision.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct structural and sheet-metal activities, including modifications and repairs, with minimal oversight.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to the highest quality standards.
- Manage documentation related to removals, including identification tags and weight logs.
- Understand aircraft stringer and frame station layouts.
- Interpret and follow service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and technical manuals.
- Execute planned work according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Document all actions in compliance with the Repair Station Manual and regulatory guidance.
- Assist in training team members on work methods and procedures.
- Support various aircraft ground-handling tasks.
- Report any issues affecting work assignments promptly.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Inspect and report non-airworthy components.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are serviceable.
- Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
- Complete all required training in a timely manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provide leadership support as needed.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with strong reading, writing, and math skills.
- 7+ years of experience in aircraft sheet metal and structures or a combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Boeing models, particularly -800 and -900; BBJ experience preferred.
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools and basic hand tools.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to work extended hours or shifts as needed.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Skilled in analyzing and interpreting complex regulatory and technical documents.
Certifications
FAA Airframe and Powerplant or Repairman's Certification preferred.
