Position Summary

This role involves executing aircraft-related sheet metal and Auxiliary Fuel Systems (AFS) installation and modification tasks, adhering to company standards and procedures under minimal supervision.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct structural and sheet-metal activities, including modifications and repairs, with minimal oversight.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage documentation related to removals, including identification tags and weight logs.
  • Understand aircraft stringer and frame station layouts.
  • Interpret and follow service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and technical manuals.
  • Execute planned work according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Document all actions in compliance with the Repair Station Manual and regulatory guidance.
  • Assist in training team members on work methods and procedures.
  • Support various aircraft ground-handling tasks.
  • Report any issues affecting work assignments promptly.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
  • Inspect and report non-airworthy components.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are serviceable.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
  • Complete all required training in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide leadership support as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent with strong reading, writing, and math skills.
  • 7+ years of experience in aircraft sheet metal and structures or a combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with Boeing models, particularly -800 and -900; BBJ experience preferred.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring tools and basic hand tools.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to work extended hours or shifts as needed.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Skilled in analyzing and interpreting complex regulatory and technical documents.

Certifications

FAA Airframe and Powerplant or Repairman's Certification preferred.
