POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is tasked with the efficient distribution of linens, towels, and essential room supplies, either by utilizing carts or by hand. Responsibilities include restocking room and floor supply storerooms and ensuring that soiled linens are replaced with fresh items. The individual in this position is also accountable for keeping storerooms organized and clean in the back of the house. A positive, friendly, and welcoming demeanor is essential to provide exceptional and memorable experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are representative of the work performed in this role and are not exhaustive of all tasks:
  • Stock room attendant carts with sufficient supplies to ensure efficient room cleaning.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuums, and empty vacuum bags as needed.
  • Alert supervisors to any supply shortages.
  • Remove waste and soiled linens from room attendant carts.
  • Report maintenance issues and complete minor repair requests.
  • Conduct spot cleaning of walls, carpets, light fixtures, and carts at the end of shifts.
  • Replenish supply storerooms and rotate linens as necessary.
  • Ensure proper organization of shelves in storerooms.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of emergency protocols.
  • Take necessary actions to enhance safety in work areas.
  • Secure keys and hotel property as required.
  • Deliver special requests, such as cribs, to guest accommodations.
  • May be tasked with maintaining water quality by testing pool chemistry.
  • Keep supervisors informed of any significant issues or concerns.
  • Perform duties with minimal disruption to guests.
  • Adhere to all company safety and security protocols as well as relevant regulations.
  • Observe and report any damage to hotel property.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to adapt to varying situations and changes in work processes to meet guest needs.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.
  • Excellent listening skills to effectively address guest requirements.
  • Willingness to learn new cleaning techniques.
  • Outstanding guest service skills, reliability, organizational capabilities, integrity, and high energy levels.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, team members, and external contacts.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented approach.
  • Flexible schedule, willing to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

In addition to other responsibilities, each team member must comply with laws and regulations:
  • Employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses.
  • Participate in required training sessions.
  • Perform duties in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to the policies and procedures related to the Casino.
  • Ensure minors are not permitted in gambling areas or allowed to engage in prohibited activities.
  • Refer to internal control systems and policy manuals for guidance.
  • Report any exceptions, fraud, or violations to management.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.
  • Understand the implications of problem gambling and be aware of the Casino's programs addressing it.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The work environment characteristics described here are typical for team members performing essential functions of this role.

Must be able to:
  • Access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Frequently stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, stretch, reach, stoop, crouch, and work in awkward positions; regularly lift, move, push, or pull over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Primarily indoors, with potential exposure to smoke and temperature fluctuations, as well as noise from gaming machines and guests.
