Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Liaison: Act as a bridge between nursing units and the Director of Nursing, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the clinical operations of nursing units, ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to formulate, manage, and monitor the nursing department's budget.
  • Staff Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring nursing staff and promoting top-tier clinical practices.
  • Nurse Staffing: Assist in staffing processes, including performance evaluations, interviews, and onboarding of nursing personnel.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • A minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role within long-term care.
  • Familiarity with the MDS process, state nursing regulations, and federal guidelines.
  • Availability for on-call duties as required.
