Executive Chef

The Lead Cook is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation in our kitchens. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and production guidelines, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Supervision: Schedule and assign daily work activities to staff, supervise the completion of tasks, and ensure that all food preparation and presentation meet our high standards.
- Training and Development: Train and guide staff on job duties, standard food safety and sanitation procedures, cooking methods, and other essential skills.
- Culinary Expertise: Cook and prepare food following production guidelines and standardized recipes, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standard.
- Workplace Organization: Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items, and safely use all food utensils, including knives.
- Equipment Operation: Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, and other kitchen appliances, and maintain them in good working order.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive attitude and ensuring that all guests receive a high-quality dining experience.
- Experience: Previous supervisor experience in a related role, and experience as a cook or related role.
- Skills: Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations, as well as basic math and counting skills.
- Certifications: Food safety certification required.
