Key Responsibilities

  • Sanitation and Cleaning
    • Clean and sanitize all equipment, machinery, and work areas to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
    • Use specialized cleaning solutions and equipment to effectively remove dirt, grime, and bacteria.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
    • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to management.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage and maintain inventory of sanitation supplies and equipment.
    • Order supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Training and Communication
    • Train new team members on sanitation procedures and protocols.
    • Communicate effectively with management and colleagues to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. physical science, food industry) preferred.
  • Experience
    • 0-3 years of general work experience required.
    • Experience working in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred.
    • Ability to operate various equipment and machinery.
    • Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets.
    • Forklift certification a plus.
