Job Description:
About Travel Nurse Across America: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel position in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
- Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities, maintain patient records, and clean/disinfect equipment.
- Evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions to the director.
- Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
- Interact with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Respond to emergent situations requiring Respiratory support.
Requirements:
- 1 year of recent acute care experience.
- BLS, ACLS certification.
- NBRC certification (may be required in some areas).
