Job Summary:
The Highland Park Community Development Corp. is looking for a Protection Officer who can provide top-notch protection services to our clients, employees, and guests. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of security services.

Responsibilities:
- Provide protection services to clients, employees, and guests of the corporation.
- Identify and mitigate potential threats to safety and security.
- Respond to emergencies and investigate incidents as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of security services.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of incidents and activities.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; NYS Security Guard License and Fire Guard for Shelters (F02) certification preferred.
- Basic computer skills required for composing emails and accessing HR information systems.
- Ability to climb stairs (up to 10 flights) and navigate through crowded areas safely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
