**Job Summary**

Auro Hotels is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at the Beautiful and Brand New AC Hotel by Marriott Greenville Downtown. As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding guest expectations for restaurant service.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure guest satisfaction through dining room cleanliness and attention to guests' needs.
  • Thoroughly and correctly set up the assigned work station prior to opening and clean station at end of shift according to AURO and Franchisors operational policies and standards to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
  • Complete all necessary side work as per restaurant schedule.
  • Be knowledgeable about all menu items, their garnish, contents, and preparation methods.
  • Answer guests' questions regarding menu items with confidence and accuracy.
  • Be aware of all daily specials, soups, drinks, wines, and 86 items.
  • Greet guests promptly at table.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase check averages.
  • Take order accurately and input into kitchen food management and ordering system. Follow proper procedures in completing guest checks and submitting information to kitchen.
  • Check guest order prior to serving to ensure that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct.
  • Serve guest order promptly according to service standards. Return as appropriate to ensure all of guests' needs are being met and to suggestively sell other items.
  • Pre-buss and bus all tables as per restaurant standards and prepare for future customers.
  • Notify manager of all food and beverage supplies needed to ensure efficient operation of restaurant.
  • Have working knowledge of property and all facilities to respond to guests' questions effectively.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
