Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to our patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with patients to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required

Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
