Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will be responsible for implementing physician-prescribed plans of care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, and family members on client problems and concerns

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
