Deburr Technician

We are seeking a skilled Deburr Technician to join our team at Stellar Technology Services. As a Deburr Technician, you will be responsible for deburring and polishing machine parts, inspecting products for defects, and ensuring conformance to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and examine completed parts to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments.
- Work directly with supervisors and management representatives to achieve production goals.
- Follow documented instructions and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Operate and maintain finishing equipment, including detail and cleaning equipment.
- Perform 100% visual inspections on all parts processed and report defective parts as scrap.
- Meet production rate requirements while maintaining workmanship standards.
- Able to work under a microscope for extended periods daily.
- Effectively communicate with management and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years of experience finishing production parts.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including precision instruments.
- Comprehension of metal surface finishes and ability to identify different burr types.
- Ability to learn and apply advanced technical concepts.
- Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed.
- Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required.
- Ability to use or learn to use a computer to look up documents, request assistance from other departments, and enter production information.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment. Must have 20/20 vision with correction, and no color blindness, steady hands with good dexterity.
