Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement validation principles and techniques to ensure the quality and reliability of complex SoC designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute validation test plans, scripts, and tools.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Engage with partners to drive continuous improvement in design, validation plans, and methodologies to prevent, reduce, and/or find bugs sooner, more easily, or more reliably.
  • Set up and execute test regressions and reports to ensure the quality and reliability of SoC designs.
Requirements
  • Applied understanding of Computer Architecture and Central processing Unit (CPU)/SoC validation principles, including understanding of SoC subsystem, SoC system level, and platform level functionality.
  • Validation experience as part of a SoC Board Bring up Team.
  • Understanding of I2C/SPI protocols.
  • Board schematics understanding.
  • Basic understanding of OS and bootloader.
  • Scripting experience is a must.
  • Ability to develop sophisticated tools/scripts to support SoC validation activities.
  • Demonstrated success in hardware/software debug efforts.
  • Python, C/C++ experience with bare metal OS.
