Electrical Systems Designer

As an Electrical Systems Designer at Oxford Global Resources, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems by developing and testing components. You will evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs;
• Apply knowledge of electricity and materials to design and develop electrical systems;
• Develop and test components to ensure they meet specifications;
• Design and conduct testing methods to confirm system's and components' capabilities;
• Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements and researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials;
• Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components;
• Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods and testing finished products and system capabilities;
• Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends;
• Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests;
• Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations;
• Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures;
• Maintain product data base by writing computer programs and entering data;
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
• 2+ years of experience in electrical systems design and development;
• Strong knowledge of electricity and materials;
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to work in a team environment;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
