Position Summary:


Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Services Manager, the Senior Inventory Management Technician will support the manager in organizing staff schedules, distributing workloads, and delivering training and educational resources to the inventory management team.

This role will address backorder and stock-out challenges and work collaboratively with the manager, clinical resource manager, and purchasing department to identify effective solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the establishment of new supply rooms while ensuring existing ones are properly maintained and devoid of expired items.

Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for clients and staff.

Report any concerns to management and ensure prompt resolution.

Provide training and educational support to new hires and ongoing training for current staff members.

Assist in the coordination of schedules and workload allocation.

The team lead will serve as a backup when necessary to guarantee all areas receive adequate support.

Maintain a daily log of mileage, ensuring the UF Health Central Florida vehicle is kept tidy and organized.

Safely operate the company vehicle while delivering supplies to various locations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.

Licensure/Certification:
Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Skills and Experience:
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English effectively.
