Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pharmacy Operations: Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and maintain accurate records of patient information.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Support: Support the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care, including assisting with clinical services, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Certifications: PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico) required.
  • Skills: Basic math skills, basic level PC skills, and knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
