Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert guidance and support in RHEL 8 administration, configuration, and optimization.
  • Design and implement automation solutions utilizing Red Hat's Advanced Automation Platform (AAP) to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of containerized applications via Red Hat OpenShift, ensuring optimal scalability, security, and availability.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to create and execute solutions that fulfill business needs while adhering to industry best practices.
  • Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for RHEL 8 systems and OpenShift environments.
  • Remain informed on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices related to RHEL, AAP, and OpenShift.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Over 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in RHEL 8 administration and support.
  • Certifications: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent credential.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (RHEL 8).
  • Proficient in Red Hat's Advanced Automation Platform (AAP) for infrastructure automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift for managing container orchestration.
  • Strong command of scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation and orchestration tasks.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in performance tuning and root cause analysis for RHEL 8 systems and OpenShift environments.
