Job Title: Part-Time Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team at Community Clinical Pharmacy LLC.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this role is to train, develop, and monitor pharmacy technicians while ensuring pharmaceutical products are delivered with exceptional accuracy and quality. A thorough understanding of USP 795 and 800 is essential for determining the quality of pharmacy products. Effective leadership and department workflow management optimize technician productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the operations of pharmacy and pharmacy technicians in their applicable department
  • Train, develop, and monitor staff in specific department
  • Understand compounding techniques outlined in USP 795 and 800
  • Process prescriptions using pharmacy software
  • Consult with patients and providers regarding our compounded medications as well as traditional medications
  • Inventory control and supply management equip technicians to perform their tasks without interruption
  • Other duties as designated
  • Staff pharmacists report directly to the VP of Pharmacy Operations

Requirements:

  • Licensed pharmacist
  • Leadership skill and ability to manage staff effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to serve clients
  • Organized, high-integrity, attention to detail, dependable, quality focus, empathetic, good listener/communicator
  • Energetic, highly motivated, team player with strong personal and communication skills; discretion and confidentiality essential as position deals with highly sensitive and private data
  • Compounding preparations of acceptable quality, strength, and purity with appropriate packaging and labeling regarding good pharmacy practices, state regulations, PCAB standards, and current scientific applications

Physical Requirements:

  • Proficient in using a computer and related equipment, including printers and fax machines
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Effective communication skills via telephone and email
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds as needed
  • 20/20 vision (with or without corrective aids) required for visual inspection of drug products, in accordance with legal requirements
