At Select Medical, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Pharmacist PRN, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with our clinical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all dispensing related functions, including entering medication orders, preparing and labeling medications, and filling and checking medication cassettes.
  • Prepare weekend and day pass medications for patients on leave from the hospital.
  • Contact and confer with physicians regarding any questions or irregularities regarding medication orders.
  • Document all recommendations and corrective actions taken in a clinical intervention report.
  • Participate in clinical activities, including attending team conferences, participating in patient-related rounds, and conducting medication management teaching.
Qualifications
  • Current state licensure as a Pharmacist required.
  • One or more years of experience in hospital pharmacy preferred.
