  • Systematically organize and archive diagnostic reports and vital sign records on patient files after review by nursing personnel.
  • Precisely transcribe and enter physician orders in accordance with established protocols.
  • Oversee patient admissions, ensuring all requisite documentation is completed while upholding confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Medical Terminology and proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in an acute Emergency Department setting as an admitting clerk, with a focus on scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and billing processes.
  • Licenses/Certificates: Not Applicable.
