Are you passionate about supporting children and families in need? CONCERN, a non-profit human services organization, is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide behavioral health services to children and their families. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work collaboratively with our treatment team to implement treatment plans, collect daily data, and complete daily documentation for assigned youth in home, school, and community settings.

Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans and collect daily data for assigned youth
  • Complete daily documentation for assigned youth
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure the treatment plan is meeting the youth's needs
  • Provide 1:1 support and interventions when required, including behavior modification techniques and crisis interventions
  • Support caregivers in their efforts to stabilize the child by providing information, guidance, and modeling of intervention techniques
  • Assist in the management of behavioral escalation by using de-escalation and behavior management techniques taught by the master's clinician and/or supervisor
  • Work in traditional and non-traditional settings to meet the needs of the child
  • Effectively document daily progress and relay information to team members, supervisors, and other staff as required
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner
Requirements
  • BHT I: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a 40-hour training covering the RBT task list (training is provided) or two years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services
  • BHT II: Associate degree and completion of a 40-hour training covering the RBT task list (training is provided) or two years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services
  • BHT III: Bachelor's degree and completion of a 40-hour training covering the RBT task list (training is provided) or two years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services
What We Offer
  • $18-$20/hour
  • Billable rates: BHT I $18/hour, BHT II $19/hour, BHT III $20/hour
  • Administrative pay: $7.50/hour for documentation, travel between clients, supervision, and training
