USA Tech Recruit is seeking an experienced EHS Officer with a background in the Li-ion battery industry to join our client on a full-time basis in Boston, Massachusetts. The role focuses on creating and sustaining a robust safety culture across all departments.

Our client is accelerating output while reducing the costs of both existing and next-generation cell technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe operations in a dynamic R&D and pilot production environment by actively promoting a culture of safety, conducting incident investigations with technical team support, and driving corrective actions through to implementation.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of hazardous materials management programs, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and operating procedures. Serve as a technical resource for workplace safety, including the safe handling of hazardous materials, chemical hygiene/HAZCOM, OSHA compliance, and other relevant regulations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of directly related work experience.
  • Expertise in Lithium-ion manufacturing and Process Safety Management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, DEP, and DOT.
