Job Summary:

The Acute Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the dialysis setting. This role requires a strong understanding of dialysis procedures and emergency protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients undergoing dialysis
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in dialysis care

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required
  • Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience with at least 6 months in hemodialysis, critical care nursing preferred
