Job Title: Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Products & Svcs department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Develop and implement effective security controls and countermeasures to mitigate risks and protect against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure our security posture remains strong.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience and 1 year of proven information security experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification or 3 years of general IT work experience required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of information assurance principles, network protocols, and directory services.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
