Job Summary

This position provides technical support to Production Operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control. The job duties include supporting the development and operation of automated test equipment for missile production assembly, integration & test operations, creating and maintaining detailed test plans & procedures, and providing hands-on manufacturing floor support of electrical / electronic component integration, test, troubleshoot and repair of military missiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret engineering requirements from product data drawings, parts lists, specifications and schematics.
  • Demonstrate a high level of electronic circuit test and analysis abilities to perform or assist with missile production & test.
  • Use statistical data to develop trend analysis to detect potential failures, conduct detailed failure analysis to determine root cause and implement the corrective / preventative actions.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure effective test equipment development and operation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with Test & Troubleshooting of Electronic Circuits.
  • Ability to work all schedules / shifts (first shift, night shift, and weekend schedule).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications / schematics.
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuits.
  • Use electronic test equipment (Digital Multimeter, Digital Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Frequency Counter, and/or Network Analyzer).
  • Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial and/or home equipment and products.
  • Previous experience with programming languages C, C++, C#, National Instrument's Lab-View Lab-Windows CVI and Test-Stand software with hardware component integration is highly desirable.
