Title: Finance and Accounting Associate I
Duration: 2 Months + Potential Extension
Compensation: $27/HR on W2

Role Summary:
This position involves working onsite and offers a structured schedule with shifts available from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities that are crucial for maintaining financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrating effective communication skills.
  • Processing and entering invoices accurately.
  • Collaborating with Procurement teams.
  • Engaging with suppliers to address and resolve invoicing discrepancies.
  • Managing accounts payable ticketing.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Supporting various accounts payable functions as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong ten-key and typing skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and their impact on financial statements.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and often ambiguous work environment.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain positive professional relationships.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. as a citizen, permanent resident, or other lawful status.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable processing, particularly in high-volume environments.
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with software such as Exostar, Costpoint, Cognos, and Coupa.
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams.
