Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Land Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our survey operations team, you will be responsible for managing and executing land survey projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project execution plans, including scope of work, schedules, budgets, and personnel management.
  • Manage and supervise survey personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to perform their tasks.
  • Review and approve survey data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor and control project documentation, including records, reports, and permits.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, survey directors, and clients to ensure project progress and resolve issues.
  • Supervise the preparation and submission of project completion packages.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; BS degree in land surveying or cartography preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of surveying experience, including supervisory assignments.
  • Knowledge of cross-country pipeline surveying, GPS survey methods, and electronic data collection.
  • Licensed as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas and Louisiana (plus).
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of outdoor environments, including swamps, deserts, forests, and mountains. The successful candidate must be able to perform job duties in extreme climates and be exposed to various plants and wildlife.
