Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Federal Grant Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of program controls to ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the implementation of program controls to ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.
  • Handle all facets of the Federal Pell Grant program, including disbursement and reconciliation.
  • Process summer school applicants and review enrollment verification records in the National Student Clearinghouse.
  • Work closely with the Office of the Registrar to ensure proper reporting of enrollment and degree status updates.
  • Ensure data is reported accurately and timely to the Federal Department of Education online systems.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Financial Aid software programs.
  • Knowledge of the Colleague system preferred.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and sound judgment.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional aid regulations and requirements.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, with a high degree of accuracy, courtesy, timeliness, and structure.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, patience, and commitment to customer services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience working in a Financial Aid Office.
