Supply Chain Planner Role at GreenThumb
This position will be based remotely with occasional travel required within Virginia and surrounding areas.
The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for supporting market and national supply chain reporting and analysis, including cultivation, operations, inventory management, and supply and demand. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a high volume of production facilities, SKUs, and brands, and will thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Show proficiency in inventory management strategies and company assets to promote a healthy supply chain. Manage weekly reporting of FG, WIP inventory levels, and execute actions to optimize.
- Supply and Demand: Build, manage, and refine demand forecasting process to identify areas of opportunity and manage risk. Optimize production schedule based on demand trends and inventory levels. Maintain data in Supply Chain Planning system.
- Operations: Lead weekly reporting for critical metrics such as throughput rates, Pre Roll outputs, and inventory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience related to supply chain, production/operations planning, and/or purchasing working with many SKUs.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel required.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense, and resourcefulness.
- Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Possesses a high level of critical thinking.
- Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must be approved by state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.
