Supply Chain Planner

Job FunctionAs a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for managing production planning and scheduling of assigned product families and/or production lines within an assigned plant. You will develop realistic, capacity-feasible monthly production plans, schedule production, and maintain DRP plans and raw material requirement plans.
Responsibilities- Develop monthly production plans based on demand forecast, customer orders, current inventory, and stock strategies.
- Schedule production to align with the production plan within the freeze zone of the planning time fence.
- Develop and maintain DRP plans and raw material requirement plans.
- Respond to customer order availability requests with realistic commitment dates.
- Participate in the monthly plant Pre-S&OP process and Regional S&OP process.
- Manage inventory against targets and analyze changes to inventory month to month.
- Manage production planning-related master data in supply chain systems.
- Resolve and implement demand priority decisions when supply cannot meet all demands.
- Manage supply issues and work with R&D/AT to incorporate trials into the production plan.
- Participate in Supply Chain improvement projects.
- At least 3 years of experience working in Supply Chain.
- Thorough knowledge of MRP and/or APICS supply chain processes.
- Thorough knowledge of Master Scheduling, Production Planning, Inventory Management, and Forecasting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and verbal and written communication skills.
