Warehouse Operations Specialist

Colonial Electric Supply is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
This role will involve cross-training in our warehouse logistics process, including zone specialist, packing, staging, and wire cutting. You will be expected to rotate into different positions as needed and work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Zone Specialist / Picking: Pick orders using scan technology and place on conveyor belt for delivery to packing/staging area
- Packing/Staging: Double check customer order for accuracy, pack items for delivery, and place customer order in delivery queue depending on order destination
- Wire Cutter: Correctly select items for orders and feed wire onto foot shear to cut wire to desired lengths
- General Duties: Maintain knowledge of all policies and procedures, perform maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned, and operate machinery to maneuver product (Pallet Jack, Counter Balance, Forklift)
Requirements:
- Basic computer skills
- Age: 18 years or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the shift
- Must be detail oriented with basic math skills
- Must be able to work with limited supervision
- Must be able to work with team members in a fast-paced environment
- Miscellaneous assignments as required by management
- Safety: Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and one's co-workers at all times without exception
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
