Key Responsibilities- Articulate NORAD/NORTHCOM fielding requirements for new M&S systems and upgrades to current systems.
- Attend meetings, workshops, and conferences to gather information for Global multi-Combatant Command Exercises and make M&S system recommendations necessary to match specific system capabilities to wargame and exercise requirements.
- Develop and implement modeling and simulation technologies for Virtual Training.
- Work closely with military personnel to design and execute training exercises that integrate air, sea, land, space, and cyber military operations.
- Analyze military operations and develop wargaming scenarios.
- Manage the Virtual Training Center and ensure that it meets the needs of military personnel.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest modeling and simulation technologies and incorporate them into Virtual Training.
- Assess representation in the virtual environment and provide recommendations for improvement and additional realism.
- 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 3 years relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; 0 years experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in modeling and simulation technologies.
- Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive virtual training centers with wargaming enterprises.
- Knowledge of military operations and training exercises.
- TS/SCI security clearance.
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with NORTHCOM/NORAD.
- Experience in analyzing military operations and developing wargaming scenarios.
- Knowledge of the latest modeling and simulation technologies.
- Battle Control System - Fixed (BCS-F) experience.
- Real Time Analytical Platform (RTAP) experience.
- Joint Integrated Missile Defense and Warning Training System (JIMDTS) experience.
- Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) experience.
- Air Warfare Simulation (AWSIM) experience.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming, Python, C+ - for Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) software.
- IT background (Net+, Sec+, A+, ITIL) to facilitate technical aspects of the Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) environment.
- 2+ years Instructor/Evaluator Experience.
