Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist with expertise in carpentry to join our team at Acts Retirement-Life Communities. This role involves specializing in activities related to maintenance and improvement of building utility systems, including electrical wiring, HVAC, water supply, and related pipe systems.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and improving building utility systems to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for residents
- Supporting the preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
- Collaborating with other maintenance specialists to achieve common goals and objectives
- Providing exceptional customer service to residents and colleagues
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4-5 years of technical maintenance experience
- Carpentry experience is essential, with a strong focus on electrical wiring, HVAC, and plumbing
- Strong people skills and commitment to customer service
- Expert technical knowledge of electrical codes, painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and/or sprinkler systems
- Valid driver's license required
