Hearing Specialist Opportunity in Delaware

Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiology and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As an Audiologist, the candidate will conduct comprehensive diagnostic hearing tests, provide hearing aid consultations, perform hearing aid fittings, and offer ongoing support and maintenance for hearing aids.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic hearing tests, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to accurately diagnose hearing impairments.
- Perform hearing aid consultations and fittings, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for each patient.
- Provide cerumen (ear wax) removal services, promoting ear health and hygiene.
- Offer ongoing hearing aid maintenance and care, including adjustments and repairs as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about hearing loss and available treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology, staying ahead of the curve in this rapidly evolving field.
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) or Master's degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- State licensure or ability to obtain state licensure in Delaware, meeting the necessary qualifications and requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effectively interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care, prioritizing the needs and well-being of each patient.
- Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
