Join Our Team as a Behavioral Health Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents in our care.

About the Role

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work directly with our youth to provide individualized support and guidance. You will assist with daily living skills, participate in therapeutic activities, and help to create a safe and supportive environment. Your role will be to provide emotional support, guidance, and encouragement to our youth, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to children and adolescents in our care
  • Assist with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Participate in therapeutic activities, such as art, music, and animal therapy
  • Help to create a safe and supportive environment for our youth
  • Provide emotional support, guidance, and encouragement to our youth
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or relevant field preferred
  • Six (6) weeks of behavioral health work experience required
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • Pay Range: $18 - $19.80 / hr
  • Earn an additional $1/hr. for hours worked between 3pm-11pm and an additional $2/hr. for hours worked between 11pm-7am, 7 days/week
